Community Development Programme (CDP) promotes an integrated education among the students. It is mandatory for all the Second year UG students. Neighbouring coastal villages like Nathakulam, Vembar, Komputhurai, Jeeva Nagar, Pazhaiyakayal, Amali Nagar, Keezhavaipar, Dhupaspatti, Alanthalai, Mukkani, Tharavaikulam are adopted by our college and each department is assigned one village and all the departments render a committed service to the villagers with a view to promote an egalitarian society in the neighbourhood.

Road Safety Patrol creates awareness among the students regarding the traffic rules and regulations. The club also assists the students to acquire driving license.

Red Ribbon Club and Youth Red Cross Club organize programmes to motivate the students to help others during accidents and natural calamities. Resourceful personalities are invited to give awareness messages to the students and to motivate them to be service minded. The Scribes Forum sends its student representatives as scribes to the neighbourhood schools to assist the visually challenged children in writing their exams.
