Department of Mathematics(SSC)
Mathematics is a tool behind every invention. To promote higher education in Mathematics, Department of Mathematics (SSC) was established in 2002 with PG Course. UG Course was started in 2010. Due to the tremendous increase in demand of the course a second batch for UG Mathematics course was started in 2016. M.Phil course was introduced in the year 2017. The department was announced as a Research Department by the University in 2015. The department offers a vibrant environment for holistic development and mathematical discourse.
Vision
To foster positive attitudes, fascination and excitement of discovery through the teaching and learning of mathematical concepts.
To establish an atmosphere of creative endeavor that supports interdisciplinary collaborations, innovative projects, significant research, interesting courses and informal discussions that mutually benefit the students, the faculty and the community at large.
