MINUTES OF IQAC 2023-2024

The IQAC meeting was held on 01st June 2023. The IQAC Coordinator Dr. B. Serena Margaret led the meeting. All the IQAC members attended the meeting and discussed the conduct of the Orientation Programme along with the Department of Tamil (SSC) to celebrate the World Environment Day. Agenda: i) To organise the Orientation Programme for the students on the theme LIFE Initiative – Lifestyle for Environment. ii) To celebrate the World Environment Day by protecting environment Action Taken Report: i) The Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised an Orientation Programme along with the Department of Tamil (SSC) on 5th June 2023 on “LIFE Initiative – Lifestyle for Environment to celebrate the World Environment Day. ii) 250 students participated in the programme online.

2022 - 2023 Minutes of the IQAC Meeting 2022 – 2023 Minutes of the Meeting Date: 08.07.2022 The IQAC meeting was organised on 8th July 2022. Dr. B. Serena Margaret, IQAC Coordinator led the meeting. All the members of IQAC attended the meeting and discussed the conduct of Professional Progression Programme for the faculty. Agenda: i. To formulate the best design of Curriculum Framework with desired learning outcomes in the Higher Order Levels in the Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor Domains of Learning, ii. To aid the faculty to be aware of the recent Teaching and Learning strategies. iii. To know about the preparation of Teaching module and Criteria for assessment. Action Taken Report: i. IQAC organised a Two-Day Workshop on “Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment: An Integrated Design Approach for OBE as a TOTAL Teacher” on 13th & 14th July 2022. ii. It emphasised the importance for OBE and Taxonomy Based Educational module. iii. It explored new Teaching- Learning Strategies and Instructional Design in OBE. iv. 160 Faculty from various disciplines were the beneficiaries.

The IQAC meeting was held on 01 June 2021.The IQAC Coordinator Dr.B.Serena Margaret led the meeting.All the IQAC members attended the meeting and discussed the conduct of the Professional Progression Programme for the faculty. Agenda: i) To organise the Professional Progression Programme for the faculty. ii) To adapt to the pedagogical &the emotional Changes in the pandemic situation and to adhere to new innovations in higher education. Action Taken Report: i) IQAC conducted Professional Progression Programme for the faculty on 7.06.21 & 8.06.21 on“Toward a Constructivist Framework for Fostering Change and Innovation in Higher Education"and"Adapting to Pedagogical &Emotional Changes during Covid 19"to highlight the essential qualities for the enrichment in the professional life ii) 160 Faculty from various disciplines were the beneficiaries.

MINUTES OF IQAC 2020-2021

The 1QAC meeting was held on 27h May 2020. The 1QAC Coordinator Dr. B. Serena Margaret led the meeting. All the 1QAC members attended the meeting and discussed the conduct of an Online International FDP for the faculty to highlight the importance of providing the academic support resources necessary for the students with learning disabilities to succeed in their respective programmes of study. Agenda: i) To host an International FDP for the faculty to advocate more contemporary definitions of giftedness and knowledge, and help in the complicated identification and assessment of students who are both academically talented and learning disabled ii) To familiarisethe faculty about the ways of handling the students with learning disabilities Action Taken: i) 1QAC conducted an Online International FDP on 02.06.2020 on Invisible Scholars: Students with Learning Disabilities and Identification of Students with Learning Disabilities." ii) Faculty from various disciplines across the country were given an awareness on creating a responsive environment to the learners with disability.

MINUTES OF IQAC 2019-2020

The first IQAC meeting was held on 10th June 2019. The IQAC coordinator Dr.B. Serena Margaret led the meeting. The IQAC members discussed at length the conduct of one week students’ Induction programme for the first year UG students. They charted out the various sessions of the students’ Induction programme in such an organised manner in order to  assist the incumbents to acclimatise to the new role and new environment, learn about the institutional policies, process, practices, culture and values

The IQAC meeting was held on 12th July 2018. The IQAC coordinator Dr.S.Sudha Rani led the meeting. It was presided over by the principal Dr. Sr. A.S.J. Lucia Rose. She initiated a discussion on the preparation of NAAC Self Study Report. It was decided to go in for the Re-Accreditation process in the month of October.

• Data collection was strengthened
• An Orientation for faculty was organized on 20th June 2018
