Department of Business Administration & Institutions’ Innovation Council conducted its second council meeting on 26th February 2021 at 10:00 AM through Microsoft Teams on the topic “Workshop on Business Model Canvas”. Dr.S.Sivakumar MBA., M.SC (Psy), Professor & Business Consultant was the resource person. He exposed his words of experience on how to develop Business Models. In this meet the students were able to get an overall knowledge about business models. As a business consultant the resource person shared his views on how to start the business models from scratch. He also shared on the upcoming ideas on business models. He clearly explained on how to get financial assistance for the start up of business models. On the whole it benefited the students and gave an insight on how to start their business models.

Department of Business Administration & Institution Innovation Council has conducted a two day international conference on the topic of Start-ups to Scale-up; Phases, Strategies & Development on 5th & 6th February 2021. The sessions were taken place on Google meet, as well as it streamed on YouTube live. The conference was open to public and approximately 100 students of our college were in attendance. Meanwhile, Research scholars, Entrepreneurs were also attended the conference.

Ms.K.Darika Sonali founder of Sonaliartistry, Tuticorin & alumnae of our Department of the Batch 2015 -2018 was the resource person. She exposed her words of experience to become an entrepreneur and how to sustain in business.

In this meet the students were able to get an overall knowledge about startup business. As an alumnae Ms. K. Darika Sonali shared her words how she started her career as an entrepreneur. The overall session encompassed with the magical word passion. It boosted the student’s energy to become an entrepreneur as well as the way to promote our product using various promotional tools including social media and its impact on business. Overall the students were much benefited on how to choose the career as entrepreneur.
