The Department of Chemistry in association with Institution’s Innovation Council, St.Mary’s College, (Autonomous) Thoothukudi has organised a webinar on the topic “Internship- a start-up”on 22nd December 2020 at 2.30 pm. Mr. Saravanan, Senior Manager, Training and Development, SPIC Limited has addressed the students on the topic internship. The webinar was held in the presence of  Dr.J. Martin Rathi, Head, Department of Chemistry. Earlier, Shalu of  III B.Sc Chemistry has delivered the welcome address. Mr. Saravanan discussed with the students about the safety methods and approaches to be followed in their factory. Also, he explained the ways to be followed to apply for internship in SPIC. 111 students and professors have attended this webinar. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks by Maria Hannah of III B.Sc Chemistry. The event was hosted by Varsha Antonita of II B.Sc Chemistry. The arrangements of the webinar were made by Dr.A.Lakshmi and G.AmalaJothi Grace, IIC members of Chemistry Department.
