The management of human resources in a scientific manner and its application in day to day business activities is to understand and resolve complex issues and provide value addition to corporates and employees alike, is emerging as an indispensable tool of modernization and globalization. Hence it is essential to have professionals with expertise in managing human resources in industrial and commercial business establishments. Every industry, business and trade needs competent HR professionals who possess holistic understanding of human behaviour, business, society and government and are well equipped in all aspects of HRM. With a great scope HRM has surfaced as a lucrative career option and this programme has been designed to develop highly competent HR professionals. MHRM, the UGC sponsored Innovative Programme was established in the year 2012, under the Nodal Department of Commerce. The programme focuses on critically assessing the role of human resources in modern organisations, from hiring procedures to strategies for motivating employees and systems for developing and retaining talent.
