Marian Quest is a Bi-annual Multidisciplinary Research Journal of St. Mary’s College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi. However, the growth of research in the country is not in par with nations like China, as well as top academic systems in the world.
Innumerable scientific journals and books are published in all disciplines and in different dimensions in India, yet they fail to reflect or contribute to the economic and social development of the nation. It is imperative for an interconnectedness of research and the progress of a nation, as scientific growth, technology; productivity and employability are dependent on research and innovation.
