The Centre for Cultural Excellence trains our students to involve themselves in all the cultural activities including dance, drama, orchestra, band inside and outside of the college.
The Marian Band trained by a professional performs on special occasions. It honours and leads the dignitaries with their enthralling march during all the important occasions.
The Marian Orchestra was rejuvenated in the year 2015 to enhance the musical talents of the Marians. The members of the orchestra are regularly trained by expert musicians and vocalists and offer performances during the celebrations organized by the college.
The Marian Choir enlivens the holy mass celebrations in the college chapel with its soulful renderings. The choir also performs the invocation prayer songs during important ceremonies.
The Dance Club of the college offers platform to the dancers of various styles including Classical (Bharatnatyam), Western and Folk to participate and exhibit their talents both within the campus and outside of the campus.
The Drama Club of St.Mary’s is an age old one that has produced and staged various famous plays from Literature during College Day and other important occasions. It brings out the acting and performing skills of the students.
Cultural Excellence is an integral part of the college experience at St. Mary’s. The Centre for Cultural Excellence provides a platform to showcase the creative potentials of the students. Students are offered opportunities to exhibit their talents and skills during the important events and ceremonies organized by the college. The Centre for Cultural Excellence ensures exposure and opportunity to the students to participate in inter-collegiate cultural fests held at various places.
