The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college strives to sustain and enhance the quality measures upgraded by the institution since its inception in the year 2004. It arranges for periodic assessment and accreditations. The IQAC stimulates the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research. It ensures to collaborate with other stakeholders of higher education for quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance. It encourages self-evaluation, accountability and undertakes quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programmes. It consistently works for catalytic improvement and consciously contributes towards the overall excellence of the institution.
The IQAC meeting was held on 01st June 2023. The IQAC Coordinator Dr. B. Serena Margaret led the meeting. All the IQAC members attended the meeting and discussed the conduct of the Orientation Programme along with the Department of Tamil (SSC) to celebrate the World Environment Day. Agenda: i) To organise the Orientation Programme for the students on the theme LIFE Initiative – Lifestyle for Environment. ii) To celebrate the World Environment Day by protecting environment Action Taken Report: i) The Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised an Orientation Programme along with the Department of Tamil (SSC) on 5th June 2023 on “LIFE Initiative – Lifestyle for Environment to celebrate the World Environment Day. ii) 250 students participated in the programme online.

To formulate the best design of Curriculum Framework with desired learning outcomes in the Higher Order Levels in the Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor Domains of Learning, ii. To aid the faculty to be aware of the recent Teaching and Learning strategies. iii. To know about the preparation of Teaching module and Criteria for assessment. Action Taken Report: i. IQAC organised a Two-Day Workshop on “Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment: An Integrated Design Approach for OBE as a TOTAL Teacher” on 13th & 14th July 2022. ii. It emphasised the importance for OBE and Taxonomy Based Educational module. iii. It explored new Teaching- Learning Strategies and Instructional Design in OBE. iv. 160 Faculty from various disciplines were the beneficiaries.

She initiated a discussion on the preparation of NAAC Self Study Report. It was decided to go in for the Re-Accreditation process in the month of October.
